Ingredients of Macaroons

  1. It’s 130 g of ground almonds.
  2. It’s 240 g of icing sugar.
  3. Prepare 125 g of egg whites.
  4. It’s 75 g of caster sugar.

Macaroons step by step

  1. Blend together the icing sugar and almonds then pass.
  2. Whisk the egg whites until light and slowly add the sugar and continue whisking to a meringue.
  3. Fold in the sugar and almonds mix and place in a piping bag.
  4. Pipe out small discs and leave them out to dry a little. Then bake on about 130°C until risen and firm to touch.
